I personally plow this place without much concern until I run into a tree giant. They may not be as dangerous as the bosses, but since you have to fight them first(and can end up fighting several per run), it's a problem when they cripple your party before even reaching the boss.
Everything else in here isn't even a threat by comparison. You need a way to deal with these things, or they can wreck a totally perfect ruin singlehandedly. I think it will be changed in a week or so.Only problem I've ever had in the Weald is vs the tree giants. Prepare some Move Chance boost, since they have 100% Move Resist.
(3:) Some say pulling the Crew forces the anchor-guy to pass every turn behind the ship. He won't easily die from Stress, but still kill the anchor-guys as soon as you can, since they heal very quickly while he is alive. I used a Crusader again, with Stand Tall this time. (optional) Prepare to recover from an Affliction with Zealous Vigil and other skills like Turn Back Time and Chant.Ģ: Stack Stress Resist on one hero. You might have to un-chain him before retreating if necessary. Let the anchor-guy stress him out, and once the Crusader gets Virtuous, he becomes immune to the chain. I used a Crusader with Holy Orders and Hero's Ring. Also note that Mark expires twice as fast.ġ: Stack Virtue Chance on one hero. Team-comps are usually, the Crusader I used in both runs, a Plague Doctor for monsters, a healer (a Vestal or an Occultist) and a damage-dealer (usually a Highwayman). I tried two tactics, and succeeded with both.
